Dental Fillings – Treatment with Filling Materials
Small defects caused by caries can be repaired with a dental filling. We use composite resin that matches the color of the tooth. The resin is modeled in several layers and then cured with UV light. The result is very aesthetically pleasing after smoothing and polishing. In our practice, all fillings are routinely applied using magnification loupes to be able to recognize even the finest structures.
Inlays and Onlays
If the defect on the tooth is larger, the use of inlays or onlays is recommended. These dental fillings are manufactured by our dental technician and are bonded after taking impressions and/or digital scans in another session. The ceramic used is characterized by high biocompatibility and stability, making it particularly durable.
